Late, late one night after a jiv band practice, the members and their manager, Sharon Finn, visited their normal after practice hang out at the Donut Hole (yes that is spelled correctly, that's how they spell it on their sign). They sat down in their normal seat way in the back corner. After ordering their food and drinks and scarfing it all down, they sat around as usual and talked about things. The topic about the end times came up and how close it seems we're getting, basically. The night turned into a very spiritual night and the team felt they needed to go outside and pray about some things. They sat down on the outside porch in one of the benches and prayed while people came in and out of the door. For several minutes they were in deep prayer. They all said their amens and hugged. After settling down a little and talking a little bit more Jason Anderson noticed a beautiful reddish-brown bunny hopping down the sidewalk and into the road. At the time there were no cars coming at all, it was late at night and the roads were practically dead. Then, it hit them all at once. "Ok, the bunny is in the middle of highway 98 and cars travel fast on highway 98." They all raced down the stairs of the resturant fearing for the bunnies life. Halfway down the stairs, the first car whizzed by, missing the bunny barely and scaring it back in the other direction. A sigh of almost relief came over right when the worst happened. The bunny was a half a hop too late. A second car had run by, knicking the bunnies back end. With a loud crushing of bones, the bunny was sent spinning in the air and landed on the side of the road. A loud, long, high pitched scream filled the ears of whoever was around till finally the bunny gave its last breath. It lay silent and still on the side of Bloody 98. Jason L., Dylan, and Paul went down and crouched around the still, tiny body in awe of what just happened while Jason A. comforted Sharon. The bunny was given a proper burial and from then on, what the band saw and heard will stay in their minds forever.
